SALARY - MARKET RELATED AND BASED ON EXPERIENCE
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Matric, Electrical Engineering Qualification, National diploma in electrical engineering or Degree in Electrical engineering
Min 5 - 10 years relevant work experience
Knowledge of tender processes
RESONSIBILITIES:
Design/repair of transformers up to 10MVA 33KV prepare relevant documents and winding sheets, miniature substations up to 2 MVA 33KV prepare relevant documents and winding sheets.
Design through calculations considering material's characteristics, cost and equipment.
Interpret various customer technical specifications and assist with tenders right up to design and manufacture of final product after order.
Technical interfacing with all the Internal departments, Customer base and Suppliers.
Make technical recommendations to improve designs on repaired transformers.
Fault finding on transformers and failure report writing
Capable of performing full factory tests on transformers
Knowledge of manufacturing process
Personnel management experience in a supervisory position
Adhere to guidelines and standards to ensure that the companies reach levels of excellence the quality of products.
Order of material
Coordinate quality checks and inspections on products during the manufacturing/repair process
Knowledge of tender processes, transformer site work for quotation purposes, health and safety of factory based work and site work
