A CRANE TECHNICIAN POSITION IS AVAILABLE, A LMI WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE AND THE PERSON WILL BE BASED IN RUSTENBURG AND WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN JHB.
HIS DUTIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Diagnose faults on all Lifting equipment by conducting inspections
Report defects to the Workshop Manager Carry out repairs service inspection of lifting equipment, tackle and machineryPerform load test of lifting equipment tackle and machinery Identify necessary manufacture parts and equipment that need replacements Give detailed list for parts and equipment that need replacement
Ensure that the correct tools are available to carry out the required function
Attend to breakdowns allocated to incumbent when required as per standby roaster
Complete daily timesheets and ensure they are handed to the Workshop Manager
Complete all technical worksheets with detailed information
Complete load test, service and inspections forms
